Our grandparents celebrated their 80th and 90th birthdays this year. To mark the special event, the family put together a beautiful memory book with their siblings, cousins, children and grandchildren sharing their memories of the grand old couple with writings and photographs.
In the last two pages of the memory book you will also find a compilation of 'బామ సామితలు' or 'grandmother's words of wisdom' gathered by Pranati over the years..

'Rukmini Datta Charitra' honors, celebrates and chronicles the lives of Smt. Rukmini Dutt, our beloved grandmother and her husband of 63 years Sri. Desiraju Dutt...
63 years of togetherness is a long journey, a road well traversed, with many turns, bumps, pit stops and breaks beautifully endured by this awesome couple. They've touched many lives, inspired, changed, helped and nourished many a branch of their large family tree to bring it to where it stands today..
This blog therefore shall serve as the pit stop for all of us to refresh, reminisce and recollect the beautiful memories we share with them..
For those of us who are new to this warm and loving group of people, the family trees, lovingly and painstakingly put together by Srilatha and Bhaskar Vissa should serve as a mini directory to getting to know other family members.
